Art of Lying: The Essence of Hindu Philosophy

Khurshed Batliwala’s video about Technology of Spirituality is not something unique or path breaking but it definitely comes in a package that kindles the sentiments with its astute approach.   It would create a frenzy among the newly globalised, highly suave and increasingly nostalgic Indian.  Both resident and non-resident Indians are starting to lose the vibe of Indianess.  The vibe of superiority enshrined by birth has suffered a major dent and are desperate to show the world that they are not just a bunch of white collared workers.   In their desperation they are giving credence to any gibberish which would not only sound scientific but also help revive their lost pride.

This is where people like Khurshed fill in with their educational qualifications as springboards and their manipulative ideas as paraphernalia for approbation among the ‘educated masses’.  Khurshed and their ilk are savvy enough to gauge the sycophancy of their fellow hindus.  So they mash up their ideas with science, history and copious amounts of hindu fairy tales.  These aren’t mere lies but a constructed notion against the indigenous people to distort their history and their contributions.   In the video Khurshed odiously compares the tribals with the brahmans.  The truth is that the tribals have always been more compassionate and productive than the brahmans or any other caste for that matter.  Even if we were to hypothetically accept whatever he is saying where did it all go without a trace.

Khurshed claims zinc was extracted thousands of years ago before the Europeans stole the idea via the Chinese.  If it was thousands of years old it could have been anyone but the point is if they could extract using their spiritual or yogic abilities why couldn’t they extract pure zinc. The reason being the technology or the knowledge at that stage was limited or to tell the truth no one knew that it was zinc (chemically speaking).  As science and technology progressed and when the actual need/want for zinc was realised pure zinc was extracted, not by any tantric but by a person who intended to do it by real scientific means.

Then he jumps to astronomy/ancient history rambling about varaha avatar, jestha and arundhati stars.  Varaha avatar being referenced to state the fact that the earth is round (in reality it’s spherically flat) is a stupefying statement.  Even if it were true what was the point of discovering or knowing that the earth was round and coming up with a wild story which doesn’t serve any purpose.  When did a boar taking the earth into the ocean become part of history? Those claims about jestha and arundhati are akin to sticking-the-tail game.  Here Khurshed is sticking it with his eyes open as astronomers have already with advent of time and lot of effort established it with scientific methods and empirical evidence.

Then he mentions a sloka about Krishna which is apparently encrypted.  An encryption of the mathematical constant Pi, of all the pressing things in this whole wide world.    Why should that mathematical constant be encrypted and why should anyone care even if it was.  The consistent thing about these are that nothing is straight forward and can be encrypted/decrypted at will.

Soon another Batliwala-alike would come along and say that the iPhone was conceived by Vishvamitra and some dude named Ashasravacharya wrote it in a scroll but the guys at Apple stole it and the ‘educated’ Indian would cheer for that as well.  Welcome to brahmanical philosophy where even the gods are controlled by the mantras then why not claim iPhone to be their invention. The brahmanical mindset of claiming credit to every accomplishment in this world is getting ludicrous by the day.

These are the same people with their metaphysical approach succeeded in creating a hegemonic social order so rigid that it reverberates in every aspect until this day.  This hegemonic order has even taken scientific dimensions and is being questioned in the ever changing socio-political environment.  The need to justify its relevance has risen and it can no way be justified in the current climate as it has become defunct.  So they take the ‘time machine’ and travel back to previous millenniums scouring for anything that can be conjured up with any established fact.

Behind this facade lies the message ‘bring back the good old days’ and the ‘good old days’ that they want to take us back had caste segregation, untouchability, enslavement of women and numerous other social evils as a way of life.  These devious intelligentsias are feeling the heat and are increasingly paranoid of losing their undeserved prominence.  So like always they have started concocting fables and sowing them as facts in young minds.  The brahmanical drivel which for long has controlled the past thereby controlling the present is losing the battle waged to reclaim the past that rightfully belongs to millions of indigenous people of this vast land.

The neo-brahministic class, an offshoot of globalisation is being targeted. The neo-brahmins in their avarice and gullibility are digesting it with no forethought.  These trolls like Batliwala should be resisted from manipulating the people to submit to their wanton ways, the ways which created the despicable caste system discriminating fellow human beings in the most inconceivable manner known to man.

“தமிழகத்தின் பால் தாக்கரே” சீமான்

இந்த தமிழ் மொழியானது காட்டுமிராண்டி மொழி என்று நான் ஏன் சொல்கிறேன்? எதனால் சொல்லுகிறேன்? என்று இன்று கோபித்து கொள்ளும் யோக்கியர்கள் ஒருவர் கூட சிந்தித்து பேசுவதில்லை. “வாய் இருக்கிறது எதையாவது பேசி வயிறு வளர்ப்போம்” என்பதை தவிர அறிவையோ, மானத்தையோ, ஒழுக்கத்தையோ பற்றி சிறிது கூட சிந்திக்காமல் பேசிவருகிறார்கள். இப்படிப்பட்ட இவர்கள் போக்குபடியே சிந்தித்தாலும் ‘தமிழ்மொழி 3000-4000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முந்தி ஏற்பட்ட மொழி’ என்பதை தமிழின் பெருமைக்கு சாதனமாக கொண்டு பேசுகிறார்கள். நானும் தமிழ் காட்டுமிராண்டி மொழி என்பதற்கு அதைத்தானே முக்கிய காரணமாய் சொல்லுகிறேன். – அய்யா தந்தை பெரியார்

அனைத்து இந்திய லாரி உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கம், அனைத்து இந்திய அந்த சங்கம் இந்த சங்கம் என்று இருக்கும். அதில் எல்லாம் மாநிலம், மாவட்டம், மாநகரம் என்று ஒவ்வொரு குழு அடங்கும். அது போல தேவர் குழு, செட்டியார் குழு, முதலியார் குழு, நாடார் குழு, பிள்ளை குழு என்று எல்லாம் சேர்ந்து நாம் தமிழர் என்று ஒரு சங்கம் அமைத்து உள்ளது. சரி எதுக்கு இந்த சங்கமுன்னு கேட்டா எல்லாரையும் ஒன்று இன்னைத்த பிறகு எல்லாருக்கும் அறிவுரை கூறி ஜாதி பற்றை அல்லது வெறியை கைவிட செஞ்சுடுவாங்கலாம். ‘இவன்’ என்ற பார்த்திபன் படம் நினைவுக்கு வருது. அதுல மிஸ்டர் பார்த்திபன் என்ன செய்வாருன்னா எல்லா வில்லன்களை கடத்தி பேசியே திறித்திடுவாறு. நல்ல தமாஷா இருக்கும். அதே வித்தையை நம்ம தன்மான சிங்..ச்சி புலி சீமான் செஞ்சினு இருக்காறு. ஏதோ அவவன் தேவை இல்லாம தேவனாகவும், வெட்டியா வன்னியனாகவும், சும்மனாச்சுக்கும் செட்டியாகவும், டைம் பாஸ்சுக்கு தலித் ஆகவும் இருக்கான் ரெண்டு நல்ல வார்த்தை சொல்லி திறுதருதற்கு. இந்த கூத்துக்கு பின்னாடி ஒரு கூம்பல் வாங்க தமிழரே கொள்கை தேவையில்லை, கூட்டம் தான் தேவை, கட்சி தான் தேவை. வீரம் தான் தேவை என்று இயேசு அழைக்கிறார் கும்பல் கூச்சப்படும் அளவிற்கு சகட்டு மேனிக்கு பிரச்சாரம் செய்கிறார்கள். எல்லா ஜாதிக்காரனும் (சுத்ரவாள்) செந்துக்குன்னு தலித் மக்களை வேற வாங்க தமிழரே என்று தீடீர் பாசம் செலுத்துறான்(ராம ஜன்மபூமி நினைவிற்கு வருது). சும்மா வாங்க பிரச்சனைய அப்புறம் பார்த்துப்போம் என்று எத கேட்டாலும் இப்போ ஈழம் தான் ஒரே பிரச்சனைன்னு ஜார்ஜ் புஷ் 9/11 போல அரச்ச மாவையே அரைக்கிறான். ஈழ போர் ஏன் இப்படி ஆச்சின்னு மட்டும் கேட்டோம் காங்கிரஸ், சோனியா, கருணாநிதி, இளங்கோவன், அசின், விவேக் ஒபரோய் என்று எல்லாரையும் இழுத்து ஒரு கலட்சபம் நடத்திடுவாங்க. சரி இப்ப என்ன செய்யலாம் என்றால் அ.தி.மு.க விற்கு வோட்டு , கனிமொழிக்கு சிறை, மோடி போன்ற ஆட்சி என்று தே.மு.தி.க வின் அடிமட்ட தொண்டனுக்கு உள்ள அரசியல் சமூக அறிவை வியக்கும் அளவிற்கு பேசுவார்கள்.

எதோ தேசியவாதம் ஜாதி நல்லிணக்கம் பேசுறீங்க சரி, பெரியாரை ஏன் சீண்டனும். பெரியார் தேசியத்தை வெறுத்தவர், ஜாதி ஒழிப்பில் காலமெல்லாம் உறுதியாய் இருந்தவர், பார்பனீயம் அல்லது இந்து மதத்தை வேரறுக்க முற்பட்டவர், அடிப்படைவாதத்தை எதிர்த்தவர் என்று எதையெல்லாம் செய்தாரோ அதற்கு நேர் மாறாக செயல் படுகிறது சீமானின் நாம் தமிழர். வீரமணி பெரியார் பெயரை கெடுத்தது பத்தாது என்று இன்று சீமானும் நாம் தமிழரும் உலா வருகிறார்கள். அம்பேத்கருக்கும் முதுராமலிங்கதிற்கும் மாலை அன்னிவிச்சு ஹிந்து பாசிஸ்டுகள் ரேஞ்சில் அம்பேத்கரை ஜாதி தலைவர் ஆக்கிவிட்டார் சீமான். இதற்கு சப்பை கட்டு கட்டும் முற்போக்காளர்கள் வேறு. அப்போ போய் காஞ்சி பெரியவாளுக்கும் மாலை சாத்துங்கோ என்ற எண்ணம் எழும் முன்பே மோடி புகழை திவ்யமாய் பாடும் சீமான். ஈழத்தில் இஸ்லாமியர்களை வதைத்தார்கள் விடுதலை புலிகள் இப்போ எதிரிக்கு எதிரிக்கு நண்பன் என்ற முறையில் மோடி போலும். வறட்டு தமிழ் தேசியவாதம், ஜாதி சமரசம், கண்மூடி தனமான தொண்டர் கூட்டம் எல்லாம் சேர்த்து தமிழகத்தில் ஒரு பால் தக்கரே உருவாகிவிட்டார். வெளி மாநிலத்தவரை அடிக்காமல் இருப்பது தான் ஒரு குறை.
ரஜினி ரசிகர் போல் தலைவன் வேணும், வழி காட்டனும் என்று சொல்லாமல், சீமான் போன்ற அரசியல் சமூக சந்தர்பவாதிகள் பின் செல்லாமல் பெரியார் அம்பேத்கர் பாதையில் தனி மனித ஒழுக்கத்தினால் ஜாதியை ஒழித்து மதங்களை கடந்து தமிழராய் இல்லை மனிதனாய், உழைக்கும் மக்களாய் ஒன்று சேர்வோம்.

குளிர் பான பெட்டியின் இதமான காற்று நளினியின் மனப்புழுக்கத்தை இன்னும் தூண்டி விடுவது போல் இருந்தது . “அம்மா …ஏன் இப்படி ”…என பேச ஆரம்பித்த நளினியின் வார்த்தைகள் செவிடன் காதில் ஊதிய சங்காயிற்று.

“கோடி கோடியா பணம் கொடுத்தாலும் இப்படி ஒரு கேவலமான பொண்ண என் பையனுக்கு …மாட்டவே மாட்டேன் ”, என நளினியின் தாய் சூளுரைத்தாள்.

“ஆமாம் கேக்க மறந்துட்டேன் …பையன் ஆஸ்திரேலியால இருக்கானே …அங்க ஏதோ நிற வெறி பிரச்சனை எல்லாம் ரொம்ப அதிகமாகி இருக்காமே …என்ன சொல்றான் ”, என ஒரு நலன் விரும்பி கேள்வி எழுப்பினாள்.

ஒரு நிமிடம் நளினி நடப்பது புரியாமல் திடுக்கிட்டு நின்றாள்.

வெட்கம் கலந்த புன்னகையுடன் மேடையில் நின்ற மணப்பெண்ணை பார்த்தாள். சில நிமிடங்களுக்கு முன் அவள் சரமாரியான நிற வெறி தாக்குதலுக்கு உள்ளானதை நினைத்தாள்…கொதித்தாள்…சட்டென எட்டி பார்த்த கண்ணீரை துடைத்துக்கொண்டாள்.

News is abuzz in the mainstream media for the past few days regarding the Maoist ‘violence’ in certain parts of the country. Normally these places would never even get a mention in the mainstream media and some are even astounded to know that there is some kind of instability in their own country which they thought to be very peaceful and prosperous. ‘Mindless violence’ is the name of the game in the media and by the politicians regarding this unrest or rebellion. The root causes of the hostility have been conveniently forgotten and the one and only focus is the ‘violence’ that is being perpetrated at the moment. To add fuel to the fire, the recent killing of a police officer has created a furore in the Indian media (Rahul Gandhi also empathized that his father was also killed for no ‘apparent’ reason). Not to be left behind, the self professed guardian angel of India Mr. Chidambaram has urged the Naxals to cease violence and join the democratic process and he is even perplexed as to why the Naxals would even resort to this kind of mindless violence. The public is given the notion that the very integrity and existence of India is at stake and this poses a grave hazard to the economic development of this nation which has seen consistent ‘growth’ in the past decade. The Naxal uprising is not something which has started recently as the government potrays it be. To understand the nature of the problem and the reasons behind why the government is crying foul now,one has to understand the origin or the evolution of the problem.

In 1967, a village named Naxalbari in West Bengal gave rise to a Left-Wing insurrection against the local landlords and the government who always sided with the landlords. Since then it has spread to various parts of the country and has grown to such an extent that the Indian state feels that its authority is being undermined. According to the government, the Naxals or Maoists have a strong presence in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Orrisa, Chattisgarh, Jharkand, West Bengal, Bihar and a considerable presence in the states of Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The regions which have seen a sharp in Naxalism are among the most impoverished or rather regions which have hardly seen any kind of economic activity in the past sixty years. The people living in these regions are predominantly adivasis (indigenous) who for centuries have lived in these areas and have maintained a sustainable ecosystem until now. The government began encroaching tribal lands for the purpose of logging and when the private operators stepped in, the total ecosystem took a beating. The adivasis, whose lives depended on these forests were totally thrown out of gear. These people with very modest means resisted through peaceful means but the state machinery brutally clamped it down. The government spared no means to see that the resistance is nipped off without a trace. When all forms of peaceful resistance proved futile the adivasis had to resort to an alternate form of resistance and that’s when they looked up to the ideology of Mao Zedong who himself waged a guerrilla warfare against class oppression. The Naxals or Maoists began organizing themselves and slowly armed themselves together with assimilating all splinter groups. The Naxals that we see today are not only armed but have found immense support among the local people which is the prime reason why they can hold off the might of the state machinery.

The ulterior motive of the government is to get rid off these people to acquire these lands so they can sell it to steel and aluminum companies. Vast amounts of ore deposits have been found in these areas and since then the corporate thieves have been lobbying the Indian government to turn over the land to them. The government’s commitment to safeguard the interests of the Tatas, Jindals, Mittals and other scoundrels are far more important than the lives and livelihoods of millions of people. The mainstream media on its part is trying to project this issue as an obstacle to development as they are part of the coterie. Suddenly the government wants the Naxals to abjure ‘violence’ but do not give any assurance on their part as to what they would do to address the issue which gave rise to this ‘violence’ in the first place. The other ludicrous thing is that,Chidambaram and his hideous acolytes want the Naxals to join the electoral process. Chidambaram who himself won the recent elections fraudulently gives this sham called elections a clean chit. These hoodlums do not want or would not want to understand that the Naxals don’t even accept this system in place and want to change it for good. There lies the evil design of the government which does not even want to accept the nature of the problem. If the government of India goes ahead with its military strategy then it would be nothing short of genocide of innocent people.

Buoyed by the recent success in Sri Lanka where thousands were slaughtered mercilessly with the tacit approval of the International Community, the government of India is planning to spare no means to quell this resistance. LPG, the acronym for the rather acrimonious Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization is once again unleashing its evil claws under the pretext of growth but hidden behind this grand façade is a sinister motive to exploit and expunge anything in its path. A kind of colonial invasion has been going on in this country since the last decade which was rather covert but now they have become blatant. The government machinery has become its tools and the patriotic citizens are the stooges who empower the government. It is in the hands of the government and the patriotic citizens who believe in the current system to stop this ‘violence’.They are the real perpetrators and should they choose to pass the buck, then this ‘violence’ can never be put to rest and it would surely spread to each and every part of the country even spilling on into the comfort couches of our living rooms.

Two Dogs and Hindi

வட மாநிலங்களுக்கு வரும் பிற மாநில மாணவர்களால் சரளமாக ஹிந்தி பேச முடிவதில்லை. ஆனால் அவர்கள் வெளிநாடுகளுக்குச் செல்லும் போது ஆங்கிலத்தில் சரளமாகப் பேசுகிறார்கள். எனவே நமது நாட்டுக்குள் முக்கியத் தொடர்பு மொழியாக இருக்கும் ஹிந்தியை அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் அறிந்திருப்பது அவசியம். ஹிந்தியை அனைவருக்கும் கற்பிக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க இதுதான் சரியான தருணம்.

Indian government’s arguments for making Hindi the official or link language of India are as ridiculous as the need for a big door and a small door for the big dog and the small dog. Indian government agrees that English is needed for communication with the world, and every school in India teaches English after the fifth grade. Then the Indian government says that all of us should also  know Hindi  in order to communicate amongst ourselves within India. Club India’s 62nd Anniversary

India is one of the greatest concocted myths of the millennia. The myth that is being promulgated right from 1947 has found many a takers now. The takers have taken this myth beyond anyone’s expectation and there is hardly a need for the scoundrels to do any kind of propaganda to sustain this myth as the barbarians have taken it upon themselves to uphold this foolish myth.
How would this myth hold for more than six decades is quite surprising but not shocking. The druids of this cocktail called ‘Indian’ have cleverly laced this with another cocktail called ‘Hinduism’, a mix of which is sure to get anyone high just enough to render anyone bamboozled for a long time if not forever. This cocktail ‘Indian’ is relished in ‘Club India’ which has a very limited access and is served over the table at a rather affable cost but with a strict condition that no one turns the table on them, the server. People who turn the tables on them, the server would have to face dire consequences which would include being branded (not labeled as ‘branded’ has got a better USP) as outcastes, traitors, minorities, terrorists and so on so forth and result in their expulsion from the lounge to the backyard. So the owners of this ‘Club India’ want the people to shut up, get high and get lost without meddling with their affairs as they go about ravishing and ravaging through the backyards filling in their tills with blood stained ‘Gandhis’. In the past decade the lounge has seen a sharp increase in its patrons. These patrons are more than happy to be inside as they guzzle down their pints of ‘Indian’ and are more than loyal to heap praises for this ‘Club India’ and have rather conveniently forgotten what they have gone through in the backyards. ‘We’ve chandryan’, ‘we’re an atomic super power’, ‘we’re the only humans on earth’, ‘we’re divine’ are the chants of this rather boisterous crowd as they stare through the windows,  millions are being exploited, subjugated and plundered. This cocktail ‘Indian’ is quite a drink as it not only inhibits the mental faculties in a person it also creates hallucinations.
Today is ‘Club India’s’ 62nd anniversary and members at the club are given double shots of ‘Indian’ and things are going to run amuck with the patrons going to extreme ends to prove their fondness to the club. They will come up with stories about the club which would put to shame the greatest ‘paati’ story ever told and of course there will be assertions by those delusional patrons that things will have to get better in the near future so that everyone could be accommodated in the club and there are those simply oblivious to anything and everything having positioned themselves right next to the bar table waiting for the next round.
Meanwhile high above this lounge in the V.I.P room the members (it is a highly controlled sterile environment where its member range in the few hundreds, who are the real stake holders) are laughing their asses-off listening to the patrons. Cheers.

India and its Patriots

India is a peculiar country and her nationalists and patriots are a peculiar people. A patriot and a nationalist in India is one who sees with open eyes his fellowmen treated as being less than men. But his humanity does not rise in protest. He knows that men and women for no cause are denied their human rights. But it does not prick his civic sense to helpful action. He finds whole class of people shut out from public employment. But it does not rouse his sense of justice and fair play. Hundreds of evil practices that injure man and society are perceived by him. But they do not sicken him with disgust. The patriot’s one cry is power and more power for him and for his class. I am glad I do not belong to that class of patriots. I belong to that class which takes its stand on democracy and which seeks to destroy monopoly in every shape and form. Our aim is to realise in practice our ideal of one man one value in all walks of life, political, economic and social. It is because representative government is one means to that end that the Depressed Classes attach to it as great a value and it is because of its value to us that I have urged upon you the necessity of making your declaration subject to its fulfilment. You may tell me that the Depressed Classes have your sympathy. My reply is, for a stricken people what is wanted is something more concrete, something more defined. You may despise me for being unduly apprehensive. My reply is it is better to be despised for too anxious apprehensions; rather than be ruined by too confident a security.

Religious ‘freedom’ in India

It is a known fact that in Hindu majority India, minorities have always had it hard. Among the people who convert to other religions, mostly it is the dalits who form a significant percentage. The main reason they do so is to escape the oppression they face from the so called upper castes who refuse to treat them even as humans let alone as equals. But even this doesn’t seem to have alleviated their situation. From anti-conversion laws in TN to genocides in Gujarat and Orissa the obstacles they face is beyond words. A recent report from U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has confirmed this.

The report has only reiterated only what most of us know already.As expected, the Indian government has termed the report ‘regrettable’. This is not the first time the Indian Govt has turned a deaf ear to such findings. When the issue of caste based discrimination came up at a anti-racism conference in South Africa some years ago, India refused to accept that the caste system was a form of racism and went on to proclaim that the practice was fast declining when the actual facts showed exactly the opposite. The first step to rectify any issue is to accept the fact that there is an issue. It seems like the Indian goverment is totally oblivious to this fact.All it wants to do is to paint a rosy picture of its multilingual, mulitcultural heritage, conveniently ignoring the travails faced by millions of its own citizens.

The violence the government needs

A lot of people put their reputations on the line and said the weapons of mass destruction is a reason to remove Saddam Hussein. It wasn’t just people in my administration; a lot of members in Congress, prior to my arrival in Washington D.C., during the debate on Iraq, a lot of leaders of nations around the world were all looking at the same intelligence. And, you know, that’s not a do-over, but I wish the intelligence had been different, I guess.”

This is what the outgoing president of the United States of America had to say and after what around 200000 deaths and ruining probably millions of lives.   These were the same people who after September 11 were gunning for justice and clamoring to liberate the people of Iraq.  The people just sang along to the tunes of the establishment without questioning the moral authority these hoodlums have considering their antecedents.  Now the Mumbai attack is being projected as an assault against the so called democracy and harmony of India.  The ‘free world’ is up on its feet once again calling for stringent action and before any kind of investigation is conducted they have unearthed the perpetrator and the ‘patriots’ and ‘nationalists’ have already hit the highest note of ‘Vande Matharam’.  The media for its part kindles the ‘dormant Indian’ into helpful action to safeguard the valor and the land of ‘Hindustan’.  It’s all chaotic and suddenly people are arrested across the country with maps, mobiles and what not for trying to try and blow up something, who knows what.

This Mumbai tragedy with its live broadcasts and numerous debates is just another dose required to inject ‘Indianess’ into the now parched ‘Indian’ who has started questioning why he/she doesn’t have proper education, food, water and other basic amenities if the government were to say that the economy is booming (considering that these were the same people who said back in the early 90’s that the benefits of open economy would trickle down to the lower classes but before even they could see a drop the economy is being claimed to be in recession).  Every now and then when this voice becomes louder the sounds of the guns start blaring louder (also to grease officers like Hemant Karkare).  Dramatic footage beamed across the globe just hijacked the issues at hand for a good year or two after which we sure will hear some more depending on the dosage required.  The footage that was shown right from BBC to IBN was just focused on to infuriate the average Indian who is in a momentary lapse of reason (‘momentary’ can be anywhere between a few thousand years to infinity) into believing and accepting the ‘delusional fact’ that these people just sprung up last fall and were just doing what they were doing because they were plain evil (like in the Indian movies where villain is evil for no reason).  The flags are fluttering high and suddenly even a person with little sanity is caught up in this insanity and the establishment always knows all too well to prey on this sentiment.  The army is put on alert and in a short span all the atrocities committed by the government are put in the backburner and the atrocities to be committed are already justified with hymns of courage, valor, Bharat Matha etc.

No one cares to reason why these kinds of acts happen in a repetitive cycle and if at all the government is concerned about these killings.  The truth is that the people are deceived into believing that these kind of things are bound to happen and only a strong nation (no idea what it means) can prevent these acts.  The people never realize the fact that “this is precisely what the government needs.” For the people who say “Do you condone these acts?”    The simple answer is what about the atrocities perpetrated by the government upon its own people and was justice served in those instances.  It is the government which  is creating these monsters and without addressing this first the web of violence cannot be stopped.  One fine example would be the genocide of Muslims in Gujarat.  What has the judicial system done about it?  The very person who is responsible is in power and no one’s conscience seems to have been pricked by that news.   As Malcolm X said “the chickens have come to roost” and it is very apt in this case.  The foremost need of the hour is not to allow the government to carry on with its own share of atrocities paving the way for furthermore bloodletting.
